Recognised by their distinctive red and black neckers, Gateway Scout Group offer fun and learning experiences for a wide range of children.

As well as all the regular activities when based in and around our Scout Hut, youngsters have been able to go canoeing, hiking, shooting, treasure hunts, astronomy, tackle high ropes, learn emergency aid, see a pantomime and lots more.

We also take part in District and County events for all ages – Handicraft competitions, Beaveree, Sleepovers, St George’s Day, Remembrance Day, night hikes, swimming galas…

We are a really active Scout Group in Cambridgeshire, and are keen for both adults and children alike to make the most of what Scouting has to offer. We have opportunities for adults to help that range from a few hours a year to a few hours a week so if you could help please just let us know.

Each week about 60 boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years take part in fun activities, spread across three pack sections:
Beavers – 6 to 8 years
Cubs – 8 to 10.5 years
Scouts – 10.5 to 14 years
