Tony Winchester talks about his experiences as a volunteer for the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust since March 2013. Based at Welney, he is known for his winter swan feed commentary, but can also be seen around the reserve engaging with visitors, checking cattle or painting signs.
This talk will include a brief history of both the WWT and the Welney Centre, an explanation of the Ouse Washes and a study of some of the wildlife seen at Welney throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome, non-members pay £4. Becoming a member of the local group offers excellent value for regular attendees. The talk includes an intermission with tea and coffee available. Any questions? Call Martyn on 01487 710456
