Our river dwelling friends often have their little health problems, so it’s good to know that with the care of local people and the expertise of local wildlife sanctuaries that help is on hand.
Over the past couple of weeks our friends at the Whittlesey based ‘Unity wildlife rehabilitation centre’ have been called to assist on several occasions. In one incidence a young swan was noticed to have a broken wing and
was rescued away to a special sanctuary as it was discovered he would never fly again.
